Message: Dear Howard Family,

Betty and I extend to you our prayers and deepest sympathy. Our loss is heaven's gain.
My earliest recollection of Brother Frank goes back to Wyoming when Elva, her sister Bessie Henshaw, her cousin Jack Decker, Ormie Sutherland and others started the camping ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy. Frank would drive out from Sheridan to help in the evening services, then back to work the next day at Riley Motors where he was an accountant. He was such a faithful servant. During my time as Voice of Salvation choir director I could always count on him in the bass section. I have heard him pray so fervently for Elva,Randy and Kathy and their ministries. He was a good and Godly man.

Message: I came to personally know Brother Howard just a few short years ago. While serving as Associate Pastor of the Peerless Road Church I got to know Brother Howard even better through our weekly Tuesday noon prayer times. Most weeks Brother Howard was there, whenever his health would allow. He and I would pray in the same general area of the sanctuary. Many weeks I would often stop for a brief moment to hear the heartfelt, sincere prayer of this prayer warrior. At times I would listen to his precious songs of praise that would flow from those prayers. I am sure that whenever I think of Brother Howard I will fondly remember him most for those prayer times.

I have come to see that same sincere prayer life reflected in his children. What a legacy and heritage he has left for them.

My entire family extends our love and sympathies to the family, while rejoicing that Brother Howard has made it home.

Message: Sister Howard, Kathy & Randy, I was so appreciative when I got the call about Bro. Howard. I immediately called Ron who had just left the house. I could hear the sadness in his voice. Yet we know that Brother Howard will not suffer anymore. No pain, just laughter and praise to God. When we have shared times together in your home we have been doing whatever we were doing Bro. Howard would laugh at things we did not really think were funny but he would have the rest of us laughing. He would end up being the life of the party. He has left us so many good memories and we have shared those with our daughters. Sister Howard you worked overtime on our relationship didn't you. I remember all the times Bro. Howard kept the home fires burning when you were traveling as part of your job for the church. He took that job very seriously. He was good at it. Remember all of the dinners you cooked and left in the freezer for him and the kids to lighten his load. Well, he will be missed but not enough for us to want him to come back I don't think. I am sure that he is looking down saying I will be here waiting on the rest of my family and knowing that you guys, spouses and grandkids will be there. You are in our prayers and we appreciate each one of you so much. You will never know.
